[ Poster Club ]
The Poster Club series showcases the creative process and inspiration behind posters selected for the International Poster Competition, while highlighting the talented designers behind the work.
I’m
@jon.koerner , a graphic designer currently based in Berlin. Shaped by the Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart and the desks I’ve sat at along the way.
Posters have been my friends on this journey from the very beginning. I have always treated this medium as an artwork capable of shifting perspectives, building narratives, and evoking emotion through small surprising twists, everything contained within a single large sheet of paper. Because of that, posters have always held a special place in my heart.
My process is largely driven by exploration. Whether that means diving into the field a poster promotes or experimenting with new techniques to translate an idea or expression. I cannot exactly define what characterizes my way of working, as it is not fixed but constantly evolving, with exploration itself being an essential part of it.
Whenever possible, I also enjoy collaborating with different people, many of whom are represented in this selection of posters.
