The German phrase „Äpfel mit Birnen vergleichen“ (“to compare apples and pears”) means comparing two things that are fundamentally different and therefore not really comparable.

„Kunst braucht Raum” was an artistic intervention on the occasion of the planned Visitor and Information Centre (BIZ), which is being built for the International Building Exhibition
(IBA’27) at the entrance to the Weißenhofsiedlung opposite the old academy building.
