The straight lines extracted from the Korean marriage registration form became entangled, forming a single sculptural structure. Upon those bones, we added flesh using papier-mâché. On the lumps of flesh we shaped — kneading as if caressing one another with the strength of our twenty fingers and palms — our fingerprints remain. When I was compelled to come out to my father this year, he, to my surprise, said, “Only women become members of this family.” Within that sentence — uncertain whether it was a joke or not — I saw a light. A person like a candle that had been quietly burning all along in a space I thought was completely dark. An old space of a person. It took me thirty years to finally see that space. Two people gave birth to a person, and two people gave birth to two people. This sculpture ”Two People“ will be on view with some line drawings, starting tomorrow at the exhibition „Da, wo wir geschlafen haben“ At @jo.47.b Vernissage: 18:00 @klasseroggan @abkstuttgart 한국의 혼인신고서 형식에서 추출된 직선들은 서로 엉켜 하나의 조형적 구조물이 되었고, 그 뼈들위로 우리는 종이흙인 papiermache로 살을 붙였다.

(I am a foreigner) 2026 When the sounds I produce are not a comprehensible language, but merely physical noises that cannot be interpreted—or, if written, just flat traces made by a writing tool. When there are no fonts available in a digital program, and instead of any recognizable symbols, only square boxes appear—what can be done with them?

@ahn_jerry @klasse_choi @abkstuttgart #jerryahn #klassechoi #abkstuttgart Fotos:1-7: Xenia Wahl 8-10: Nadine Bracht
