I loved every moment of being your mom 🥹🫶🐾

Vinnie lost his battle with cancer. 💔 Pictured is what our Lymphoma journey was like over the last 3 months. The first slide was the day before he died. The last slide was the ice cream party we had the morning he died. I told him we’d have more ice cream tomorrow, and tomorrow never came. I knew the day was coming soon, but I didn’t know it would be that night. You’re never ready no matter how much you mentally prepare. Vinnie was a happy boy until the end. He loved “adventures.” He loved eating dinner at 4pm. He loved his routine of getting a greenie after he did business. He loved “grandpa.” He loved “walks,” especially to @smallsphl for treats. He loved being near his people at all times… but never *too* close. He loved his friends, human and dog. He loved helping me chop meat and cheese for @acctphilly photoshoots. He loved walking to @hamandbone . He loved finishing yogurt containers. He loved pooping on rocks and outside fences. He loved to bonk the pantry door all day long for treats. He loved bounding down the stairs when his people were with him. He loved his “new toys,” especially Larry (Marcy the Marsupial renamed Larry the Lemur) and Chicken. He loved demanding I go to sleep when I was working too late. He loved cheese. He loved walks on trash day. He loved the chickens on Coral St. He loved dragging his bowl across the kitchen when we didn’t feed him fast enough. He loved chasing geese. He loved tug of war. He loved his friends at @pasevets . He loved looking back and smiling at his people to show us how happy he was on walks. He was the very best boy in the whole world, and he was loved more than words can describe. He was my best friend, and I will miss him every day forever.
