Thank you so much for what you do and for who you are @yulia_navalnaya . It was a real honour to meet you. ‘Navalnaya has vowed to continue her husband’s fight for justice and the rule of law, giving renewed hope to those working against corruption and for a free, democratic Russia. And in so doing, she demonstrates exceptional selflessness and strength.’ Tribute by KAMALA HARRIS ‘Her core mission, she says, is to remain in touch with her supporters inside Russia, even though she cannot see or touch them. “Most of all, I want the Kremlin and its officials to understand: if they killed Alexei, then I will step up.“‘ - amazing article by Simon Shuster, link in bio. Thank you so much for your trust @dilysng @time Special thanks to: Assistant: @thomas.beck_ Studio: @springphotorental and Inga #time100 #time #timemagazine #timecover

🫀SEEING X AS WE CANT EMPOWER THE INVISIBLE Takeover by @eyemamaproject for #MaternalMentalHealthAwarenessWeek at @motherlondon Day 3 x OTHERHOOD MOTHERHOOD Hey mama lovers….Karni Eye mama project taking over, first is @kristinavaraksina on the topic of ivf , in her own words : “Dream Children” “Infertility is crippling. You feel like less of a woman, less of a family. When you try to talk about it with your close friends and family who haven’t experienced it, they don’t understand. You feel alone—completely deserted. And worst of all, you live in limbo, because you don’t know what to plan for your future. The future you’ve always imagined is now overshadowed by repeated attempts and difficult decisions: another round, a donor, adoption, or letting go of the idea of becoming a parent altogether. Today, 1 in 6 couples experience infertility. Male factors account for about half of all cases. For many, it takes multiple IVF cycles to achieve a successful pregnancy—sometimes several years of treatment. And yet, despite the uncertainty, many do find their way forward—through treatment, through alternative paths, or by redefining what a family means to them.” Eye mama “Otherhood” in motherhood speaks to the ways many mothers are positioned at the margins — shaped by race, migration, class, queerness, disability, or simply by not fitting the narrow image of what a mother is “supposed” to be. Within the Eye Mama Project, this othering is not erased but reclaimed. The project holds space for these layered identities, allowing mamas to author their own narratives and be seen beyond stereotypes or invisibility . In doing so, it transforms “otherhood” from a place of isolation into one of visibility, power, and connection, where being seen becomes a way of belonging. About: Eye Mama is a global movement and photographic archive, It showcases the ‘Mama Gaze’, photographers who identify as mothers, parents documenting their personal experience through self-portraiture. links in bio ! In this video, you can hear a moment from our conversation with Karni Arieli, as she reflects on some of the images submitted to EYE MAMA. She shares what draws her to these photographs—and how they embody the “mama gaze,” a term she coined to describe the unique portfolio looking at motherhood truths by photographers worldwide . Happy International Women’s Day! 🤝 Huge thank you to all the previous generations of women’s right fighters and activists! We still have a long way to go. And my personal goal is to bring back the control of our bodies and narratives around them. Let’s bring back free choice of what we want to do in terms of giving birth or not, breastfeeding or not, looking skinny or not, looking young or not. I don’t want to see or hear other women being critical of themselves or others, it has been destroying our confidence for generations!

Picture Perfect @bozarbrussels - so honoured to be part of this amazing exhibition providing a platform for a multitude of voices and a very current outlook on beauty related narratives and their political context. If you can visit Brussels from today and until August 16, 2026 - highly recommend! ‘Through the lens of photography and video, made from the 1960s to today, this exhibition explores how artists depict and challenge established norms of who is considered beautiful. Unveiling the pressures and excess of what it means to be beautiful today, the works in this exhibition offer a diverse range of propositions, from the critical to the emancipatory.’    #pictureperfect #essenceofbeauty
