The Lab is Scandinavia’s premier production house for global fashion and lifestyle brands.
Located in an atmospheric industrial building in Copenhagen, The Lab was founded in 1996, and provides full service production for campaigns and events.
The house offers photo studios, set build and equipment rental, as well as an in-house restaurant, catering, and an analogue photo lab.

Meet Viktor,
We’re revisiting our colleague introductions - mainly because so many new faces have joined The Lab over the years, and we’d love to introduce some of the people you’ll meet behind the scenes.
If you’ve booked equipment with us recently, there’s a good chance you’ve already spoken with Viktor. With a background in the TV industry and experience working as both a runner and PA, he’s a core part of our rental team and one of the people helping make productions possible day to day.
Jylland-born - spent years out in the deep Fyn countryside - Viktor is known for his friendly energy, solution-oriented mindset, and deep camera knowledge. Photography also doesn’t really stop when he leaves work - most of his free time somehow still ends up in front of a stage, behind a camera, or talking about gear.
We asked Viktor: What’s your favorite lens?
His response: “Choosing between a 24-70 and a 70-200 is like choosing a favorite kid… so if not those, I’d have to say the Canon RF 10-20mm ultra wide. It’s just so much fun!”

Creative Direction led by @darlingcreativestudio , we supported their vision by shaping the physical setting through set build, while @thelabkitchen curated a menu to complement the experience.

A month ago we sent Marcel & Viktor from our Rental to @bsc_expo - one of the key meeting points for photography equipment in Europe.
For us, trade shows aren’t just about gear. It’s about staying close to the people building it, sharing feedback from real-world productions, and making sure what we invest in actually solves something on set.
They spent the day catching up with familiar partners, opening new doors, and diving into everything from next-gen lighting to smarter power solutions and all the small backstage tools that make a big difference.

FUJIKINA Copenhagen 2026 May 9–10 at the Lab is a two-day gathering built around photography, curiosity, and shared experience. It’s for people who make images, think about images, or simply want to be closer to how photography actually happens.
Created by FUJIFILM Nordic together with partners, the event brings photographers, creatives, and brands into the same space to exchange ideas, show work, and open up process.
