A week ago today, my beautiful mommy left this life to be with her Savior and Friend Jesus after enduring a 17-month journey with pancreatic cancer. The most selfless person I’ve ever known. My biggest cheerleader. My superwoman. My best friend. Movie watching partner, fellow ice cream fiend, silly yet serious, uniquely fashionable, incredibly creative, honest to a fault, devoted to her family and friends, Goodwill/thrift shop connoisseur, dog lover, and most importantly of all, steadfast worshipper and lover of Christ. I know that her prayers over me and her example of godliness helped grow me into the woman of faith that I am today.
My heart aches for her to be here yet I’m full of joy and peace to know she is safe, healed, whole, and complete in the arms and presence of our Heavenly Father.
She fought the good fight. She finished her race. She remained totally faithful. I can’t wait to see her again and do some silly dances, laugh til our stomachs hurt, eat something delicious, and go for long neighborhood walks with Jesus.

While we love bright and colorful, it’s always fun to design with a sleeker, sexier palette. For this wedding at the Anderson House, we used baby’s breath, reflexed roses, along with some more unique florals, like bleached craspedia and scabiosa. The textured neutral tones were absolutely perfect in this al fresco setting, glistening in the candlelight! And a moment for the cake that was like a work of art in a museum! We suspended baby’s breath around the mantle as though it were always intertwined among it.

Best birthday gift ever 💕 On March 10, the day before my 34th birthday, we welcomed our beautiful daughter into this world. God’s grace and faithfulness have been so present since the instant I saw those two lines back in June—the week David and I celebrated our first anniversary. Jesus has carried me through a healthy, low-risk, full-term pregnancy and an intensely emotional unmedicated water birth. There’s nothing He can’t do! Life is forever changed and it’s surreal to now be a mom 🥹

Looking back at 2025, there is still so much to recap from the incredible weddings I photographed last year. First up was Nia and Shomari’s vibrant, festival-style weekend in Negril, Jamaica. 🇯🇲
This celebration was unforgettable for so many reasons. The scenery was breathtaking, and capturing Nia and Shomari’s playful love language meant there was never a dull moment behind the lens.
It was an honor to document a love story on the island that my mom and her family call home. I know this beautiful island was terribly affected by Hurricane Melissa just a few months ago, but the people and the land have the heart to rebuild.
