ā¦ā¦the second LAAB artist talk. This time Tradd Moore joins @DanGoldman and me, @RonaldWimberly to talk about form and process; followed by a signing of our respective works.
Dan Goldman, the illustrator of Shooting War, and author of Priya Shakti and Red Light Properties, carved his lane in comics as a major figure in the vanguard of web and digital comics.
Tradd Moore shot to the top of mainstream comics drawing and then writing for Marvel (Ghost Rider, Silver Surfer, Doctor Strange) before writing his own underground comics.
Iām the founder of LAAB magazine, a cartoon dialectic; a themed broadsheet juxtaposing the cartooning avant-garde with interviews, essays, and criticism from artists and intellectuals of other varieties.
Dan Goldman will have a hard bound collection of his first run of Red Light Properties as well as the first issue of the next arc. Desert Island is probably rotten with Tradd Moore comics, but weāll also have LAAB Magazine: THR33S co. (courtesy of @beehivebooks ) on hand for him to sign. ā Iāll sign it too! And maybe GratNin if you let us know that you want some copies. And Iāll be collecting tips.
