This wedding day featured 3 ceremonies, 2 faiths and 2 cultures all in one day - talk about logistics! The Canada wildfires also were raging around this time which affected this NJ wedding, so we implemented plan B to keep everyone safe.
There were so many moving parts but the ONE thing that shone through it all was love, which you could literally see and feel in every photo.

Last night was a celebration of Black Excellence in Mauve/Brown hues at @pantorabridal ‘s new store in Baltimore MD. 🤎🎉
It was SO special to me because @andrea_pittercampbell is not only a trailblazer but also really fun to be around. I’ve had multiple @statuesqueevent clients use and love Pantora over the years but now that goodness is closer to home in the DMV which is so exciting!

⏱️ My 1st time meeting Andrea and taking a selfie (also client visit to select her dress). We visited 3 dress designers but she settled on Pantora and picked the dress that day
⏱️ Final fitting day at Pantora - this was special because back then I attended dress fittings and Andrea ran them - so much has changed now but I love seeing these beginnings!
Last week, Kenitra and I were on site managing an association conference for close to 600 doctors, researchers and clinicians and it was a success!
Their logo is blue, so we sported blue all week per usual 💙.
It was a busy 5 days between load-in, execution and tear down but we got it done! Special thanks to @baltmarriottwf for hosting us this week! And thanks to @visitbmore for your partnership as well!
Today we rest, but tomorrow we get right back to it. We already secured the 2027 location, and our role goes beyond traditional event management, and into proposal abstract management, committee management and more, so we’ll hop into all of that starting later this week.

Looking back at 2025, there is still so much to recap from the incredible weddings I photographed last year. First up was Nia and Shomari’s vibrant, festival-style weekend in Negril, Jamaica. 🇯🇲
This celebration was unforgettable for so many reasons. The scenery was breathtaking, and capturing Nia and Shomari’s playful love language meant there was never a dull moment behind the lens.
It was an honor to document a love story on the island that my mom and her family call home. I know this beautiful island was terribly affected by Hurricane Melissa just a few months ago, but the people and the land have the heart to rebuild.

Shomari + Nia kicked off their festival themed 🇯🇲🇿🇦 reception by dancing through the tunnel of flags which represented the background of each guest and a little Burna Boy played by the steel pan band.
