Shortly after a surf trip through Southern Asia in the 1980s, Bruce Taylor unexpectedly passed away, leaving behind a collection of postcards and 8mm travel footage. Together his widow, sister and best friend confront the lasting impact of his loss and how his memory continues to shape their lives. At the heart of the story is Bruce’s widow Gina, who is drawn back to a chapter of her life that remains unfinished. Please Look After My Dog For Me explores the ways we hold on to those we’ve lost and the delicate process of carrying their story forward. Watch full film on @directorslibrary site.
