The mural of the story: listen to your manicurist.
Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm was first developed in the Melbourne hair salon that would eventually become Aesop, inspired by a manicurist’s simple wish: to delight customers with hand care as exceptional as the hair products made in-house.
Should you spot this large-scale rendition in Los Angeles, do make your way to nearby Aesop Abbot Kinney for a sample of its nourishing, time-honoured blend.
‘In flamenco, we use our body as percussion. It can be soft, it can be subtle, it can be strong.’
Possessing illuminatingly expressive hands, Ana Morales is the lead dancer and co-choreographer of the introductory films for new Solais Replenishing Hand Serum.
For the arrival of Solais Replenishing Hand Serum, arrangements of fans and lenticular prints have recently appeared in the windows of Aesop Covent Garden and Islington in London. Do stop by a store to experience the brightening new formulation on the skin, and see the gestures of flamenco dancers animatedly introduce our new regimen for the hands.
Lightweight and readily absorbed, Solais Replenishing Hand Serum offers an illuminative prelude to

Our Animal wash provides aromatic intervention for cherished companions who acquire not-so-cherished odours. Lenny, as a very discerning canine, appreciates its fresh, citrus and herbaceous scent.
Aesop Chadstone: a second take on minerality.
When this Melbourne store opened in 2018, it was defined by a material sobriety, with massive boulders of raw basalt positioned throughout the space. In this updated iteration, surfaces of varied density and texture coexist within a uniform ochre palette, inspired by the oxidised skin of Australia’s rocky horizons; while the walls, clad in a render of recycled glass, glint like quartz embedded in the earth. Different as they may be, the new design and its original incarnation remain bound by a tie that is solid as stone.
In the spotlight: Solais Replenishing Hand Serum.
Bringing the science of skin care to the hands, Solais reduces the appearance of dark spots as it brightens and evens the skin.
Aesop Shanghai Taikoo Hui: mysteries of the interlocking walls.
Zhejiang province is the birthplace of the Kongming lock—small wooden pieces completely supported by the connection of their own structure. Our in-house architects developed a fascination with this time-honoured science of entanglement when devising our latest Shanghai store, leading them to collaborate with Zhuge Wencang—a descendant of Zhuge Liang, who reportedly invented the Kongming lock over 2,000 years ago. His traditional workshop conceived and produced displays for formulations, enhancing a sense of harmony that eases the mind from the puzzles of daily life.
