Assembly is our dedicated space for filmmakers to share and discuss their latest work with fellow filmmakers in an open, conversational setting โ a format to celebrate filmmaking, form new connections, and learn from individual practices and shared experiences.
Attendance is free but extremely limited to maintain an intimate setting. Filmmakers at any stage of their career are welcome, provided they share and engage with othersโ work.

In Steak Dinner, Caseyโs attempted surprise dinner date gets derailed when Taylor, her girlfriend, reveals she has brought home a strange, wounded creature she intends to nurse back to health.
โKodak 16mm was the perfect format to hint at the pulpy creature feature underbelly of our anti-rom-com and bring our in-camera practical effects to life with a tangible and timeless feel. Going from the blank page to a completed narrative short in under six weeks was a rewarding challenge made possible by our incredible team that brought so much commitment and joy to the process.โ
