Holiday isn't over, but we're stepping back into work for a little bit, just to drop this quick message.
So please send this PSA to all loved ones interested in the online auditions so they don't miss it, as the submission period ends in just over a week!
Auditions open up from TODAY - But first, some general housekeeping, so please read the message below CAREFULLY to ensure your audition tape is given the best chance.
1. Re-enact or create audition material of NO MORE than 40-60 seconds. If you’d like to pair with someone else auditioning, please make sure to state so and tag both parties in the caption. Timing still remains 40-60 seconds.
2. Remember to highlight your strengths and downplay your weaknesses - so the material you choose for your audition is CRUCIAL!!
* Another crucial tip is to remember you’re auditioning for TV/FILM and NOT theatre. There's a difference.
3. Make sure you're following both @kemiadetiba and @lacasera_ng on Instagram.
4. Tag both @kemiadetibavisuals and @lacasera_ng in your posts. *PLEASE do NOT tag or mention my personal page @kemiadetiba . If you do, your audition video will automatically be disqualified.
5. Make sure to add the hashtag #KAVxLaCaseraMakeItHappenAuditions to your audition caption or we will NOT be able to locate it and your entry or disqualified.
6. There is NO AGE LIMIT for these online auditions!!!
7. Audition submissions are not limited to any location. You can send in a tape from within or outside Nigeria.
8. And finally... Submissions end on my birthday JANUARY 8th 😉

Many people do not know, or might not remember that I started off directing music videos. Since I started making movies however, I haven't had time to express myself through music videos. So you can imagine how I excited I was to see if I still had it, shooting the first single, "SAVE ME" with the legendary voice and talent @official2baba who just recently joined the GOLDEN Jubilee Club. Happy Birthday, Tu and thank you for not only coming through heavy, but delivering that vintage Tuface 🔥 in "SAVE ME" that we all remember and love 🙏🏽
The last time I worked with @official2baba was 2014 on a collaboration song with WIZKID called, "DANCE GO (Eau De Vie), so it was great connecting again - This time, from "SAVE ME" music creation through to the music video production.

I wish I could name and tag every member of the 100 plus crew PLUS post production team, but unfortunately that is impossible. These guys COLLECTIVELY gave me their BLOOD for TWO YEARS. I’m a very demanding leader and my mindset is set is of someone at the war front. My sights are sternly on achieving the goal by any means necessary. What does a Captain need when she is caught in the middle of a stern battle? A fearless and forceful battalion and the TKAM TEAMlived up to what was demanded of them.
