My Father's Shadow has been selected for Un Certain Regard category at Cannes 2025 @festivaldecannes . The First Nigeria Film to have been selected since the inception of the festival. I had the absolute pleasure of being the Key Grip, while the Grip Equipment supplied by Heedman Grip (a subsidiary of Heedman Studios). It allows us time to enjoy what we are doing. Equally I don’t think Lagos has been captured enough on celluloid and it’s by far the most cinematic place i know - it means a lot to me to frame it in this timeless way.
