Iāve wrestled with the fear of feeling not good enough. Iām not sure when it started but moving to England at 16, studying law and being surrounded by other people who didnāt look or sound like me, something tries to tell you that you have to prove to belong. That you have to reduce to be accepted. That being who you are, how you are, isnāt quite right. Without finding true Light, youāll begin to accept this is the case.
The best thing that could have ever happened to me was moving back at 21. Finding friends, loved ones, and art forms who didnāt have that fear..they were so Full. Full in themselvesā¦and of themselves. I found Art that was vivid, bold, clear, assured of itself and not reducing for anyone. Standing on its own.
