Many people do not know, or might not remember that I started off directing music videos. Since I started making movies however, I haven't had time to express myself through music videos. So you can imagine how I excited I was to see if I still had it, shooting the first single, "SAVE ME" with the legendary voice and talent @official2baba who just recently joined the GOLDEN Jubilee Club. Happy Birthday, Tu and thank you for not only coming through heavy, but delivering that vintage Tuface 🔥 in "SAVE ME" that we all remember and love 🙏🏽 The last time I worked with @official2baba was 2014 on a collaboration song with WIZKID called, "DANCE GO (Eau De Vie), so it was great connecting again - This time, from "SAVE ME" music creation through to the music video production. Thank you to Uncle O @oscarhemanackah for writing and producing such a beautiful, heartfelt record for the TO KILL A MONKEY project and soundtrack. Thank you our talented extras who remained zoned in all through our multi-day shoot. This has become one of my favorite moments of the process. I first did this in 2017. I posted up the title page for the KING OF BOYS script. I had no agenda. It was a public declaration to myself of the task I needed to accomplish. I was holding myself accountable to the mission. A couple years later, I did same for KING OF BOYS 2. And only last week, someone reminded me of the script title-page posted for TO KILL A MONKEY in 2022, and it’s incredible journey since that unassuming moment. So, keeping with tradition... Today... I post here, the title page for my new epic - THE STOOL. Simple. Unassuming. Just the way it’s older sibling-titles first appeared before it. Waiting for it’s turn to be let in to the ring. I leave it here not only as a reminder of the very beginning... but of its INEVITABLE future. I’m focused. I’m hungry. I understand my mission and I see the vision very clear. Like I said... It. Is. This passed Saturday was such a WONDERFUL day. Definitely filed away under great memories. The ADETIBA/HEMAN-ACKAH squad took a trip down to Ibadan to celebrate with our SOBOWALE family. Good food, great company, belly laughs... Oh what a wonderful time. I wish I caught a video or pic of my dad looking very handsome in his wine Agbada. But I did manage to steal a video of my mom grooving to the drums just outside the venue. My MIMS found her KUNLE... An absolutely AMAZING guy who treasures her greatly♥️ Thank you for letting us celebrate this joyous day with your family. It was so fun to dress up and get out there. Looking forward to celebrating even more beautiful milestones together♥️

My wife, @kemiadetiba Four years with you… and the depth of what we share keeps unfolding in ways that make me certain this is rare and inevitable. You came into my life and didn’t just bring love—you brought clarity, peace, sanity, and a kind of joy that feels anchored. Your protection feels like the warmest hug. My happiness or sadness affects you greatly, and I guard that power with everything in me. You are the most incredible thing i have experienced.
