There are some looks that don’t just sit pretty… they speak.
This one right here was all about capturing that soft but powerful essence inspired by Ayra Starr, that effortless blend of confidence, vulnerability, and quiet fire she carries in her music.
For this beat, I focused on skin first (as always). Think luminous, glassy, alive not heavy. A seamless base, softly sculpted cheeks, and that signature glow that hits without shouting. The eyes? Clean but intentional lifted liner, fluffy lashes, and brows that frame without overpowering. And the lips… juicy, plush, and just enough gloss to catch the light in all the right moments.
What I love most is how timeless this feels. This was shot back in 2021, but tell me why it still looks like it could’ve been taken today? That’s the goal every time, makeup that doesn’t expire.
Working on looks like this always reminds me how much artistry and music connect. Just like Ayra’s sound, soft, soulful, but unforgettable, this look is subtle, yet it lingers.
