Meet Kolade Morakinyo a UK based Nigerian sound designer and composer who has worked on some of the biggest films and series in Nollywood. Notable amongst which is Disney’s recently launched animation Iwaju, a story set in futuristic Lagos, Battle on Buka Street, All the Colours of the World Are Between Black and White, and a list goes on and on. Kolade has been managing his craft as Foley artist, a sound mixer, an ADR mixer and an overall sound engineer – he is what you call a ‘Sound Master’
Film Lab Africa stands as a pioneering accelerator initiative launched in partnership with the British Council UK, specifically crafted to empower emerging filmmakers and TV producers in Nigeria. The program is meticulously designed to offer comprehensive support, skills training and global knowledge in navigating the intricate landscape of the film and TV industry as successful creative entrepreneurs.
