As we approach the Afrofuturist Art Fair, @stonehavenstudios & @syllblestudios invites multicultural visual artists and designers to create the OFFICIAL cover for BLACKTOPIA Part III, The Isle of Achilles: The third part of our Afrofuturist sci-fi series set at the turn of the 22nd century by @bairtonbrown @kylexjordan and @keimonshook REQUIREMENTS: We’re seeking bold, original designs that capture the spirit of Afrofuturism and Sankofa (honoring legacy while shaping the future). We would love to see elements of Solarpunk architecture (i.e. treehouses, floating islands, etc), cybernetic enhancements (eyes, tails, etc), and ecological evolution (mutated plants, animals, flora, etc). Please include vibrant colors, layered symbolism, and landscape scope. Most importantly, we want to highlight artistry that is Afrocentric, and inspirational. From futuristic cities to cosmic realms, ancestral echoes to reimagined Black futures, please bring your full imagination. DUE BY MAY 10, 2026! WHEW 2025 girl , you was something! 20 slides is not enough to capture the people , places, and things that impacted me this year! Spent this year celebrating , loving, trying new things! Advancing my skill set while trying to stay connected with the people around me! Grateful to all my friends here and not pictured ! Did some children’s shows! Went to LA for an Afro futurist fair where I got to showcase some rugs and artwork! @bairtonbrown I got to direct so much this year thanks to friends and @theatre.lacadie and the incubator @willisonjoel I got to work on so many films this year thanks to @opalitefilms Got to see one of my oldest friends become an overnight star @sailorr Got to see my Bestfriend get married to the sweetest girl! And only cried a little @elan_sandler and @edynsandler Got to watch my Bestfriend @jussten perform with Keke Palmer!? Watched another friend get married ! @dezlo_tea Went to too many concerts with my friends and my love! Spent time cooking for my community!
