That’s a wrap on @5dshortfilm !!! Where do I even begin… A huge thank you to EVERYONE who was involved in this project, it would cease to exist without any of you. I am so grateful for the overwhelming support from friends, family, and family friends🤍 Thank you @tanja.mey for working so hard and helping me bring this story to life from its inception, I am forever in awe of your brilliance. Another thank you to @sydneydavis_ @zach_franker @mayahennessey for joining me this second time around, I am so lucky to have such a strong team of producers. I swear @paigedesimone had the hard drive to my brain because what the fuck. Every visual is so stunning I can’t stop looking at all the footage. Each of you are so so so talented and are such amazing human beings. Getting to work with you guys is such a treat, you made my job easy as hell. “Wild Party” has wrapped!!! This project was such a transformative experience, I am so grateful for every single person involved. Thank you to everyone who has supported @oscarhockin and I’s crazy ass film. Thank you @connorbrewster13 and @danielduff306 for your patience and letting me turn our home into a film set for a week and a half, I promise the blood doesn’t stain and everything will be fixed soon (rip cabinet & stove hood). Thank you @jacobcoggshall for letting us put you through the fucking wringer these past two weekends. Your ability to play such a physically/mentally demanding role with such ease boggles my mind. Thank you @issyhackley @sydneyhaygood @gresz_ and the rest of the cast for bringing these complicated characters and story to life with such skill and nuance, all of you are so so talented. Thank you @tanja.mey @zach_franker @sydneydavis_ @matt_booden for holding my brain mush together, none of this would have been possible without your resilience and hard work. Thank you @meghanshaw_11 for saving my ass ONCE AGAIN. You’re so fucking smart, vigilant, and hilarious, please stick around. Thank you @sydneyrenecox and Alex Amaya for tackling this complicated story with such professionalism and diligence, the actors and I really appreciate and value your work. Thank you @meredithsmithcinema and the G&E crew for the long hours of hard work to make this film look so so beautiful. Your ability to rig the fuck out of a late 1800s Chicago brownstone apartment and make it look the way it did is absolutely crazy to me. Thank you @enzogoodrich and the camera team for constantly flying around the apartment with such skill (I apologize for all the oners). So talented, no notes. Thank you @peter.hornaday and Dylan Greer for also constantly flying around the apartment!! Mixing/booming this film must’ve been a bitch, so I really cherish your hard work. Thank you @fkacordia and @christopherkostopoulos for revamping my apartment into a roaring twenties themed party—that is not an easy task.
