It’s FOUR YEARS for the next 21 seconds of your life.
.
What would you be willing to work in silence for, to build in the hidden seasons for, to train 4 years for… just for the chance to SHOW the world what you can do in a moment that lasts only seconds? Would you keep showing up when no one was looking… for the chance to show up when EVERYONE was?
.
This week I had the HUGE honor of getting to take the stage and speak at the inaugural
@micdropworkshop conference in Indianapolis thanks to the HUGE heart, vision & leadership of ONE woman…
@jess_ekstrom who is not just building a bigger table, she is CHANGING the table!! (more on this incredible conference soon!)
.
But the whole two days closed out in the most EPIC of ways with THE
@allysonfelix recording a LIVE podcast with Jess! As in the most decorated Track & Field Olympian in U.S. history, Allyson Felix.. As in ELEVEN-time Olympic medalist, Allyson Felix. 🤯🤯🤯 🥇
.
In that interview, she told us that her fastest event takes 4 years to prepare for… and just 21 seconds to run. But that if you’ve done the work, if you put in the preparation… that 21 seconds just gets to be the fun part. Executing on what you were created to do.
.
After she spoke,
@justinmarantz got to photograph both Allyson and her brother, business partner & co-founder of
@bysaysh shoes,
@wesfelix22 in our Legacy Monochrome pop up editorial studio. What an absolute DREAM! Here are just a FEW of our favorites!
