Anti Banquet
As part of the
@anti_banquet coordination team, we were proud to help raise £120,000 to address food insecurity in Bristol. Funding went to the
@bristollocalfoodfund (which funded 14 grassroot food organisations),
@91waysglobalcity youth cooking classes,
@theponyfarmbus and Team Canteen projects.
Recipe Kits
We love creating budget friendly, simple to follow recipe kits for
@bs3_community_development and
@wellspringsettlement Food Clubs. Hearing that people try something new or feel more confident cooking at home gives us so much joy. Last year we put together 1128 delicious budget friendly kits.
Caring at Christmas
Since 2021 we have supported
@caringinbristol through food, time and coordination. In 2025 we all pitched in and cooked a total of 1,250 meals, including 650 Christmas dinners alongside 200 lasagnes, 200 jacket potatoes and 200 cottage pies, as part of the offering for the week long care project.
Feed the Homeless
Working with
@the_fish_truck_ , we support Feed the Homeless with quarterly fish and chip services, including New Year’s Eve.
@fthbristol are out supporting the community three times a week and we are proud to help such a brilliant organisation.
Alive Activities
With the help of
@aliveactivities we brought a reminiscence experience through fish and chips to care home residents, reminding us how a nostalgic meal can conjure up so many memories.
Festival Pathways
We are proud to support
@bigteamcic Festival Pathways initiative and to see our placement Curtis move into work in nursery catering couldn't make us prouder.
Raising awareness through our talks
This year we hosted thought provoking panels at
@glastofest ,
@forwardsbristol and
@foda.festival , centred on Hospitality and Humanitarianism and bringing together voices from across the food and community sectors.
