When you talk to people about cargo bikes (and we do a lot), pretty much the first thing they say is that they lack storage space. And we get it.
Cramped city-living inevitably means no-one has some unused land, or a spare room that is just waiting for a cargo bike.
But speak to families with cargo bikes, and they have found solutions. Whether that's;

Three wheelers, long tails, electric assist and plain old pedal power for the tough mudders.
🍰 It was a joyous day, and we held our first Cakes & Cargo Bikes event of the year at the end of the ride, by Arnold Circus, in the glorious spring sunlight.
🚲 It was so great to see so many of our lovely cycling friends there, and we look forward to a fun-filled year of cargo bike events.

Happy Mother’s Day! Suzanne and I lead the Camden feeder ride to the @kidicalmass_london in Granary Square on Sunday. Cycling along with my favourite cyclists in beautiful sunshine surrounded by children elated to be out on their bikes was absolute peak way to spend Mother’s Day. @camdencyclists also lead the ride back from Kidical Mass in Hackney meaning our kids did a 18mile round trip 💪💪💪🚴♂️🚴♀️🚴 . Transforming your own bike with a reliable battery and some additional seats could be your route in to a cargo bike.
"Both my husband and I do the school run, so we both needed a cargo bike. Getting two wasn't an option. By adapting our bikes we saved money, but could also easily store them both at work and at home," says Manu, one of our Cargo Collective.
