What a wonderful assembly we had with @sayhellovet 🐾 🐾
We learnt all about what it takes to be a vet and a veterinary nurse, from how to care for animals to the important role they play in keeping our furry friends healthy and happy. The children loved getting involved and asking lots of thoughtful questions.
The children in Reception and KS1 were incredibly excited to meet Truffles, who was an absolute star and stole everyone’s hearts. It was such a joy to see their enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the session.
A big thank you to @sayhellovet and, of course, to Truffles for such an engaging and memorable experience!

To celebrate International Women’s Day, our Year 5/6 Girls Football Team had an incredible opportunity to take part in a special training session with Viv from East London Ladies FC. The girls showed fantastic energy, teamwork and determination throughout the session, learning new skills and gaining inspiration from a brilliant role model in the game. 💪⚽
The celebrations continued with the girls proudly wearing their brand new football kit for the first time as they played a match against William Patten Primary School. The girls showed great character and determination throughout the match, never giving up despite the final score, and represented our school brilliantly. 👏⚽

Day 2 at residential! 🌲🔥
We’re all packed and ready for another busy day. After a filling breakfast, everyone headed out to learn some brilliant bushcraft survival skills — including den building and how to make a fire safely.
To top it all off, we finished with the best reward… toasted marshmallows! 😋

Good morning from our residential trip! ❄️🌬️
Yesterday the children had a fantastic first day, despite the incredibly cold and windy weather. Everyone threw themselves into the activities and had great fun taking part in the Cresta Run, archery and crate stacking 🏹🧗♂️
After a busy afternoon, we all enjoyed a tasty spaghetti bolognese followed by cake 🍝🍰 — a perfect way to warm up after the cold!
The evening finished with everyone relaxing and chilling in their pods, ready to rest up for another exciting day ahead. Well done to all the children for their enthusiasm and teamwork on day one. @rootdadventure
