Our CEO, Travis Murphy (@teejayemm21 ) spoke today at the International Military Sports Council (CISM) World Congress in Monaco (where the city is in full preparation for the 2026 Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix) on the Carolinas USA 2027 Military World Games. When 140+ nations send their service members to compete in Charlotte, Columbia, and across the Carolinas, the responsibility and the opportunity is enormous. Whole-of-government coordination, dignitary protocol, visa and entry systems, and security elevation are key and @jetrglobal is helping lead the way.

Today @jetrglobal announces the launch of the Accelerated Border Crossing (ABC) Program. This has been a quiet build over the past two years, in partnership with Customs and Border Protection (@cbpgov ). The focus is simple; fix one of the most inconsistent parts of international travel for sports teams. Teams flying into the United States, often late at night, post-game, on tight turnarounds, regularly face inconsistent and unpredictable entry processes. Through the ABC program, professional sports charters can now clear CBP planeside or in an agreed upon secure environment. The result is a more controlled, efficient arrival for both teams and CBP. In early use, we’re seeing meaningful time savings and a better experience for players, staff, and operators. We’ve piloted this program over the past eight months and now have a strong proof of concept. From here, the goal is bringing a more standardized approach across leagues, including the @nba @nhl @wnba @mls @mlb and others, as part of increased attention during a decade of major global events in the U.S. This only works because of strong partnerships. In particular I want to thank Patrick Flanagan, Todd Owen, Teresa Resch, Tyla Flexman, Paul Elliott, Adrian Culea, and many others who’ve have helped to make this vision a reality. Most of all, we are grateful to the leadership team at CBP and the many regional officers who leaned in with us to make the whole world your home field.

Recent travel underscores the continued interest in conversations around sports and policy that @jetrglobal helps lead. Earlier this month our CEO @teejayemm21 gave a speech at the World Affairs Council in West Palm Beach, where he reiterated that the USA needs to stop looking at sports as “soft” and more as a strategic policy for how we engage the world. Earlier this week we attended the @tapsorg annual gala where we spoke to a number of military officials about the opportunities through military and sport in next year‘s Carolinas USA 2027 Military World Games. Great to see the incredible ambassador for sport and fitness, Rob Wilkins. Also, this week at the Global Sports Summit in DC where @jetrglobal hosted a panel focusing on globalization of the world’s games with @thebal president @gallosn Amadou Gallo Fall; @fibaamericas CEO Carlos Alves, @dcunited owner Jason Levien, and SportsCorp president Marc Ganis.

A powerful discussion last week at the @atlanticcouncil prior to the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Draw. We explored how sport can advance development during a historic moment for global events. With the Draw marking the next milestone in the American sports decade, the conversation centered on the policies and systems that will determine whether this moment creates real impact. Sport can spark mobility and opportunity, but only when we design for it. As next summer approaches, our focus remains on building partnerships and policies that turn major events into long-term benefits for communities across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

Adrian represented our team at the 20th Annual Povich Symposium, where leaders across American soccer broke down what World Cup ’26 and beyond could mean for the sport. Lots of great insight from Don Garber, Cobi Jones, Taylor Twellman, Sasho Cirovski, and Steven Goff. Always nice to connect with voices shaping the game’s future and snap a selfie with Tommy Sheppard, former President of the @washwizards .
