Thank you @howard1867 for presenting me with an honorary doctor of laws degree. I am deeply grateful, and I dedicate my award to two special Howard alumni: Chadwick Boseman and my dear friend, Reggie Simmons. Both left us way too soon.

I am very grateful to be receiving an honorary doctorate from Howard University this May, and congratulations to my fellow recipients! I have respected Howard University for many years and this is an honor I will certainly cherish!
