This album breathes from the stage. Connecting so personally is something scary and beautiful. The live energy is landing nicely and there's more exciting news for 2026. It took time to make this record. I'm not about rushing and so, take your own time and meet the music when you are ready, either through the recorded music or in person. 💜 Independent venues up and down our islands.. We rinsed the uncomfortable saxy banger IRREGULAR YOU from my new album for hours on end, overlaying scans of my spine and footage of projections on my naked back. Meta spinal nudity of sorts! It was a rare opportunity that arose this summer; to test and develop in 360 & centred Gauze projected setups @tomvenue down in Brighton. Huge thankyou to everyone there for your smiling faces and assistance in allowing us to play.. TO PLAY!! We hope to make it back down in the coming months for a proper performance. Such a beautiful venue, with really amazing people. Thankyou @rosiepowellfreelance on filming, @jess_ainsworth_media on the edit, and Joel on the visuals as always. We set out to explore something beautiful.. how nature and recovery dance with one another. The weather cleared, we were all available, and so 5 of us wondered into some beautiful temperate rainforest, with a projector, a load of filming equipment, and a a collection of loose ideas to create what i think is a fittingly beautiful video. These rainforests are places of recovery and in need of it themselves, akin to the themes of mine and Daudi's song 'Narrow In' The colour wash across the footage is from a pedoscan image of my back - see artwork for 'Everyday' single feat. @rioghnachconnolly The lines we projected onto surfaces were also manipulated by @jerralerra from a contour line esque pedoscan - see 'S-Bend' artwork And Daudi's face became projected onto mossy rocks, bramble leaves, forest canopy and waterfalls Huge thanks to @chamberspaul on pulling this one together. A really beautiful job. Go and give this beautiful piece some love. Stick it on your tv. Watch it on the bus home with your headphones. Sastrugi - new music out today! Headphones necessary for the intended calm here. It's deliberately quieter & probably my most stripped back music to date. Featuring @dommylaws on Baritone Saxophone & @simviolin on Violin, this tune was the first step in confronting scoliosis as the theme of this album. A couple shots of some lovely fun visuals @werkha_music and I have been developing for his live show. These were taken from a recent live set in London where we did some live experimenting and improvisation which is always a good giggle and often helps generate unexpected results! These started with a purely monochrome aesthetic but have progressed to now including a delicious variety of colours and textures to help add depth and complexity that better represents the music. SATURAMA returns to the stage on 22nd of June. Celebrating World Rainforest Day in collaboration with @plantlife.loveplants @cumbriawoodlands @rheged_centre - this marks an exciting first sharing of the show on Cumbrian soil (or in this intance, beneath it!) We've been chipping away behind the scenes on developing the show as well taking in some Temperate Rainforest in Chilé. In this video you can hear Darwin Frogs, an endemic species native to Chilé. This particular location on Chiloé took us 5 days to walk to, through forest and bog, navigating a maze of wet tree roots at every turn. A sublime example of a biome we share...
