I am beyond excited and honoured to finally announce that I have been chosen as one of 10 artists for the third cohort of the @soundandmusicuk In Motion flagship artist development programme 🎻🙏🏽💚💫
This amazing 18 month journey is going to offer me tons of support to help take my practice to its next step, offering mentoring, funding, coaching, professional development and peer support 💚
The word and theme of my life at the moment that keeps coming back time and time again is C E R E M O N Y. For the past few years I have been delving deep into it and have found it be absolutely transformative. To me it is the vital piece of life that is missing from our modern ways.
So for this journey I will be exploring Joanna Macy’s Work That Reconnects @workthatreconnects and exploring how to turn this beautiful method into a workshop that culminates in an inclusive ceremonial concert 🌍❤️🔥
After a long and difficult journey of realising I am pretty neurodivergent (surprise surprise!) I have realised that I need support and accountability to take my practice to the next step and so the support offered in this programme is going to be so so welcome and appreciated!
I cannot be more grateful to @soundandmusicuk for believing in this vision and for the support they are going to offer in bringing this dream into reality. And of course to the late Joanna Macy who has been one of my biggest influences.
I cannot wait to walk this journey, to collaborate along the way, and to walk alongside so many other powerful and inspiring artists 💫❤️

I am certainly Grounding In Gratitude 🙏🏽💫

Belated Calan Mai/Beltane blessings to you all! Summer is here, I can’t quite believe it….☀️🌷
I’m excited to go celebrate tonight at @glasbren to share music, song and stories with @angharadwynne
It’s been a busy old time with applications, new commissions, new projects on the horizon, all of which I’m so excited to share with you soon! I’ve been writing a piece about trees so here is one of my most treasured spots full of old, ancient and wise Oaks… :)
Sending warmth and love to you all. May we continue to find the light within and around during these challenging times. And to remember that for all the awful things we see on the news, there are many more times that amount of good people trying to make this world a better place for all. #thegreatturning
A quote for the day that always brings me hope -
‘the cracks are where the light gets in’ 💫
Love 💚

Simmy performed at the festival alongside contributions from Helena Norberg-Hodge, Sicelo Mbatha, Alastair McIntosh, Kalyanee Mam, Ruth Valerio, and many more.
🌼🔥 CALAN MAI 2026🔥🌼
Every year, we gather together to celebrate the coming of Summer with an extra special Calan Mai celebration - it’s become a big part of the Glasbren calendar and one of our favourite ways to welcome you all to the farm!
This year, we’ll be continuing our annual tradition of Maypole dancing, gathering Hawthorn blossom and boughs of flowers to decorate the spaces, and lighting the May fires. Thanks to support from the @tnlcommunityfund , we have an excited programme of activities planned, including Hawthorn Ink Making with land-based artist @_karnjohn , @little_stewards activities for children, a plant sale, food from the fire with local chef Deri Reed @ethicalchef and @ceginhedyn and and really special evening of music, storytelling and fire to round things off.
We’ll be joined by storyteller Angharad Wynne @dreamingtheland and musician Simmi Singh @simviolin for an extra special dive into the stories and music of Wales and the spirit of Calan Mai and the coming of Summer. We’d love you to join us for all of part of the programme.....

Soooo much travel can get extremely tiring at times, but luckily when you’re sisters who get on it can be fun… 🇩🇪🎻
Bits that we didn’t capture that also happened:
- running through German train stations with heavy suitcases to get train connections
- the @thueringerbachwochen own festival chocolate which was DELICIOUS
- noticing all the same spring plants and trees coming to life on these lands ☀️🪴
- a lush gig for a lush audience in a very cool space (more footage to follow)
- going to sing in a room in the same building that had an EPIC reverb/delay
Thanks for having us @thueringerbachwochen and thanks to the staff at @trafo_jena for making us feel so welcome and looking after us so well ❤️
And as always, thanks to @ffwdclassical for making it happen 😊

I’m feeling angry, sad and in fear of being led off a cliff by maniac, psychopathic and incompetent non leaders. People who lead from ego and destruction rather than heart, understanding, wisdom and empathy. Who take no responsibility or accountability for their actions.
But in a moment of feeling lost, these words from John O’Donohue really helped me this morning, so I share them in the hope they might bring some much needed wisdom and guidance to you too 💫 the second part in particular resonated.
We do have power if we choose to come together. How we do it I don’t know but I certainly want to try. I want to say no to this current destructive system.
Who’s with me?
Sending love, strength and solidarity to ALL ❤️🔥

Stop, Look, Listen 💚💫 this track is the second from my album.
I wanted to share something light to contrast the darkness that is filling my social media at the moment. I notice how the news can leave me feeling debilitated and angry and it can really get under my skin and into my subconscious. Our phones are material things void of life, so going outside and paying attention to living things is my way to try and counteract that, especially when I feel myself getting hooked.
I hope this little vid helps bring a smile to your face and might inspire you to go outside, even if just for a few minutes:)
Feel free to comment and tell me something you’ve noticed today 😊✨
Sending love to all ❤️

Tân was birthed with @dreamingtheland last year as the final offering of my Future Wales Fellowship journey.
Angharad and I decided it was important to create a gathering to celebrate the return of the light - Gŵyl y Golau/Imbolc - just as our ancestors would have 💫🔥
That coming together round the fire, and gathering close inside for story, song and music was a most natural thing to do this time of year. And boy do we all need it.
So we’re doing it all again in the magical setting of @dinefwrnt
This time over two special evenings…
Tomorrow (Friday), Angharad and I will be taking you on epic journey through the myths and legends of Wales 🏴
Saturday we will come together for a journey through my music, with @lifeinfractals , plenty of song and a sprinkling of story too ✨
Saturday is sold out and there are just a handful of tickets left for tomorrow night, so if you’re hoping to come, get in quick!
See you there ❤️
A bendith and all my love to you all during these dark days. We are the light and we have to remember and hold on to that ✨💚

It’s midwinter, as everything around us sleeps, us humans stubbornly continue with our busy-ness…. So maybe we need some moments to gather round the fire, take some breaths and enter the magical realm of story, song and music…? 💫✨
Join Angharad @dreamingtheland and I on January 30th and 31st for a weekend of fire, story, music and connection at the magical setting of @dinefwrnt as we celebrate Imbolc and the return of the light 🌝
I’ll be trying out some new music with the wonderful @lifeinfractals 🎻🥁
Angharad will be bringing her show ‘Talisman’.
And there is a free story walk around the lands of Dinefwr.
Link in bio and be sure to click ‘read more’ for more details about each event running through the weekend.
Massive thanks to the @nationaltrust team at Dinefwr for their support and allowing us to use this special place 🙏🏽🏴
