〰️ i can't believe this is happening. my debut record 'extinction' will be available on vinyl from the 22nd september and you can pre-order it now 😱😱😱😱😱〰️ 🌀 this is a record about the impact of human activity on our natural environment. from the outset i knew that i wanted the pressing and physical production of it to be as aligned with that message as possible and feel so lucky to be working with an organisation like @jazzrefreshed to make that happen. 🌀 i am delighted to share that we have worked with @key_production to press the record onto eco-mix vinyl. this means offcuts from previous pressings and projects have been ground up and reformed into patchwork recycled records that will now carry my music into your homes - each one is its own unique collage of colour. i believe we are constantly recycling sound and meaning when we make work and it's so beautiful to me that this is reflected in the record's physical form too! 🌀 we have have also added additional carbon balancing to mitigate the emissions that result from the pressing process. i would encourage my friends that are preparing to release music to consider how these small, and in many cases emerging, approaches can go some way to reduce the impact of music making on our planet. 🌀the record is available digitally on the 1st september via @jazzrefreshed and you can pre-order your physical copy via the link in my bio now! 🌀for now i'll be soaking up these very special moments that follow years of deep work and collaboration. can't wait to share this music with you 💙 artwork by @kerswell__ 📸🙏

i am so happy to have been selected for @soundandmusicuk 's artist development programme 'in motion' alongside nine deeply inspiring and innovative creators. delighted that such a thoughtful container for developing your craft even exists - but to be chosen to actually take part in it is another level! making work in whatever form can be lonely and you have to be your own guide most of the time, so knowing i'll be supported and guided by this programme for the next phase of my composing career is such a gift!!! in the meantime finishing touches are being made on my album, on a handful new collaborations and offerings. lots to come for your ears this year. sending spring love x photography and direction by my sis @electrasimon

Her songs about permafrost, species decline and degradation of mountains place her at the cutting edge of climate and sound, as she places the finishing touches on her album due to be released later this year. She brings us an ambient ecological sound journey to begin the day - weaving together a collection of environmental sounds she has recorded in landscapes all over the world, and soothing harmonic layers including frequencies designed to reset the nervous system and release tension. had the bestttt time supporting the legendary @olivejonesmusic at @warminthenave at @stpeterspoole 🌷🌷🌷 i played an entirely new set of songs from my new album (👀) and was received such such warmth and openness. one of those moments of positive feedback loops that remind you that you are on the right path and surrounded by the right people. shout out to @aliwarm and the team for your beautiful work! almost didn't make it to the gig because of wildfires in the new forest shutting down the train line from london to dorset - ironic for a girl with a bag full of songs about our changing climate and our place within it. i will always bask in spring sunshine and find joy in it - but this is the first time in the UK's history we hit 25 degrees in april and some areas of the country have seen less than 1mm of rain this month!!! seeking out the touch and taste and sound of the reality of climate collapse where i can. i would love to play this music outside of london in the coming months as i prepare to release it. where do you recommend?? hit me in the comments. much love 💌 photos by @clopezphotography 🙏

it's my birthday today 🌹 as i celebrate another spin around the sun i am grateful for the deep and nurturing friendships in my life, for the ability to transmute collective feeling into song for the sake of healing and understanding and justice - and for the guidance of nature. this was the year i went all in creatively and wrote an album i love. can't wait to share it with you. p.s. don't be fooled by these photos for the algo because i am actually spending today in bed struck down with horrible lurgies so if the start to your year doesn't look how you thought it might i am with you and we got this. 🤝 happy new year to everyone and let's be kinder and more true to ourselves this year ❤️
