POV: the best night of our lives ❤️🎤💍 This week, my biggest dreams came true: the surprise proposal I've always dreamed of, coming to life on stage at Katy's sold-out MSG show... and meeting (and singing with 😳🤯) my #1 artist who inspired me the most growing up. Thank you @katyperry 🫶 for making my (teenage) dream a reality... and for helping me and with the roaring 20k crowd sing the proposal lyrics to my ❤️ @arthurwwoods . This made the most special moment of our lifetimes extra special, and it was the most epic thing to experience I still can't fully put into words. The last time I wrote about the queer Asian experience was in 2021 — a personal yet difficult-to-write op-ed for Men's Health titled "No Asians," about the racism and rejection I've faced from within and outside the community.
