The Baishatun Mazu pilgrimage starts today!! ✨
It’s one of Taiwan’s most important spiritual journeys, where hundred thousands of people walk for days with Mazu, the sea goddess, for blessings and protection.
The last time i walked was in 2022 so I really wanted to walk this year… but it wasn’t meant to be 😭🫠
So I’m celebrating with this look instead.
This is my Mazu look created for the Paris Cultural Olympiad in 2024.
The headpiece was also placed in Shilin Cixian Temple to be blessed by Mazu, so wearing it always feels very special 🥹✨
