What an incredible day on set, honestly @cynthiaerivo was so poised in movement and graceful to work with.
When @campbelladdy asked me to make hair out of unconventional materials I got straight to, and created these metal Mohawks, hair has always been a medium for me to express my art. Making these bands reminded me of how metal has played a huge role in my hair structures and is something I’m enjoying exploring again.
My next personal project is on the horizon and this is one of the first pieces I’ve been working on.

Around this time 6 years ago, @ruthossaistudio booked me for this capsule collection by @badgalriri much like the most recent jobs I’ve done, I never knew I would be sitting here really doing what I love.
I feel like I often repeat myself, particularly when it pertains to gratitude because I still cannot believe I’ve been able to sustain in an industry that is so fickle;
This job changed my life, and so excited to see what the next 6 years holds for me.
If I can say anything to anyone like me, trying to find your place and hold space for yourself in a world that’s oversaturated by the influence of popular culture, there is sooo much room for you, there’s so much space.
When you step into your purpose, there’s nothing you cannot do. Hard work and determination is the crux of manifestation, I really have seen that in this life. 🌹❤️🔥🫶🏽
Shout out to the creatives in the world showing up and share their light.
After a month of instagram hiatus, whilst working through fashion month, I’ve only just touched base with myself. As I was going through my camera roll, i can honestly say the I still to this day cannot believe I get to do what I love with the people I love.
This was one of those days that reminds me that you can truly be anything you want to be. This world has a way of making you think you can only do one thing, and whilst I’m not out here trying to be a model, moments like this, confirm that you can be your authentic self in ways you would only dream of.
The gratitude I feel is overwhelming, and I honestly cannot thank @jordannkelsey and the whole @harri_ks for seeing me and allow me to be apart of such an incredible show. ❤️🔥🫶🏽🌹
Also shoutout to my sweet @batiseolhair I love you so much and I’m so grateful for you and words cannot describe how much you mean to me. 🌹
