30 YEARS OF RASTER MEDIA
For our inaugural session, we explore the catalog of the iconic German label Raster.

Founded in 1996 by Olaf Bender and Frank Bretschneider (later merging with Carsten Nicolai as Raster-Noton), the label is a pioneer in experimental electronic music and audiovisual art. Known for its scientific and ultra-minimal aesthetic, Raster’s focus on the intersection of sound, light, and mathematics perfectly mirrors VAVA’s philosophy. The audio setup will be explained by Ricardo Polonia, sound specialist at Imacustica. The music will be introduced and contextualized by Pedro Silva, VAVA’s Creative Director.
