“NOT ME” ring, this ring was the first piece in this collection, culminating all my experiments and research of many months successfully into a wearable artefact.
The real challenge was to translate the elasticity and playfulness of a balloon into metal, quite unfamiliar properties for the material. This where all the innovation came in, collaborating traditional making methods with new-age technological processes. Not me or Knot me? Upto you.
“Actions and Reactions”, it often interests me how inanimate objects come alive.

"𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗠𝗘" rings shine through their vibrant hues. Bespoke range of nano-cermaic coating colours were developed in collaboaration with a specialized chemical engineer to achieve the perfectly desirable shade. The process is synonymous to mixing paints just more tedious, it truly tests the patience, with swatches going upto 11 variations for a shade. But ofcourse it has been very rewarding, there was just not light but an entire rainbow at the end of this experimental tunnel!

Similar yet different.
Featuring three uniquely developed colours and metal polish finshes - matt, satin, high gloss, rendering each a different character through the same silhouette.
The many development stages of "𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗠𝗘" 𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 from its initial ideation sketch to its first prototype.
The core focus and also the trickiest bit was to capture the tension between the materials and translate the elasticity into metal.
