Did you even go to the Mandrake if you didn't take a bathroom pic?
I can't help but be reflective around NYE and personally, I've found 2021 to be equally difficult as 2020. There have been highs and there have been lows, both professionally and personally. Pandemic life takes a strain and I don't think we're very good at giving ourselves credit for adapting to cope and living through the changes and uncertainty we've had to face. Goals may not have been met, things may not have worked out as we had expected, but we're still here and still trying. I'm learning to not be so hard on myself and understand that some things are out of my control and can not be changed. In other words, I'm learning to be kinder and be more gentle towards myself. To accept change more readily and shift my mindset accordingly. As you may (or may not - don't want to boost my ego) have noticed, I've not really posted on Instagram very much this year. Anything I might've posted or thought about posting just didn't seem important enough in the scheme of things compared to what was going on at the time and I guess numbed my want to share. As a result, I have a bit of a back log of work from 2021 to catch up on so you can all look forward to that! But I wanted to share what I've taken from 2021 in case it resonated and could help anyone else going forward in 2022. It's not revolutionary or groundbreaking thinking, but sometimes reading what you may not realise you need to hear can do wonders. So, to 2022 (and hopefully more regular posts from me!) ✨
