Double tap if you wanna move in 😮‍💨 For the first time ever, three of Italy’s most recognised “radical design” brands are being shown together in the US, as part of an exhibition taking place inside a New York townhouse. On the occasion of @nycxdesign , the @italianradicaldesign group – made up of Memphis, Gufram, and Meritalia – has taken over a space named Kalei NYC, in the Bowery district of the city. Iconic pieces from each of the three brands are spread out across three floors – from Gufram’s Cactus, to Memphis’ Carlton bookcase. The show comes at a moment when Radical Design period, which took place in Italy from the mid 1960s to the 1970s, has gained a whole new generation of appreciators. “This take-over asserts the enduring urgency of Radical Design today as an ongoing challenge to how objects are experienced,” they add. It might not be furniture, but we always love to see what comes out of the @rimowa design prize – and this year is no exception. The winning project sees a simple bracelet become a powerful tool, designed by Samuel Nagel and Paul Feiler. Named NURA, the bracelet uses EMG sensors to translate sign language into spoken language while converting speech into visible text for deaf users — drawing its aesthetic from the shape of a manta ray. A special mention went to Niklas Henning who designed the "Paludi Harvester", a dual-machine reed harvesting system designed to restore peatlands while sustaining agricultural productivity in freezing conditions. Five additional projects were also recognised: "Aerodomestics", a lightweight kite-inspired furniture built from aluminium tubes and recycled sail fabric "A.R.C", an inflatable, electricity-free cooler for preserving medicines during disaster scenarios. "Compassion Aid", a wearable safety device co-developed with paramedics for high-risk emergency response. "HYVE," a hydrogen-powered autonomous beehive designed to restore pollinator ecosystems. And last but not least "PIP", a songbird-shaped device aimed at reducing loneliness among seniors through gentle social nudges. The winning project received €20,000, with prizes awarded to all seven finalists.

Zayed National Museum (@znmuae ) just earned a spot on the world’s most beautiful museums list for 2026. Designed by @fosterandpartners , the Abu Dhabi institution was the only museum from the region recognised by the UNESCO-backed Prix Versailles awards. Other museums on this year’s list include institutions from Japan, China, Lithuania and Uzbekistan. The building is defined by five falcon-inspired steel towers that also function as natural thermal chimneys, helping cool the space through airflow. Inside, the museum traces more than 300,000 years of regional history while spotlighting the legacy of Sheikh Zayed and Emirati identity. Is this the best-looking museum in the region right now? Photo: Foster + Partners/Zayed National Museum

At this point, @asaprocky moodboard might be bigger than his discography. From Chanel and Ray-Ban to $300K furniture pieces and Venetian skull jewelry, Rocky’s “Fashion Killa” era has evolved into a full-blown design empire. He’s not just sitting front row anymore either. Between AWGE, hOMMEMADE and PAVĒ NITEŌ, Rocky’s quietly built one of the most interesting creative worlds in music and fashion right now, moving between furniture, jewelry, racewear and runway culture. What’s been your favorite Rocky design move so far? Photo: Getty Images/AWGE/hOMMEMADE

@nigo ’s @designmuseum retrospective has a surprise ending. 🍵 The final room is dedicated to NIGO’s current passions – training to become a master of tea ceremony, and ceramics. Paying homage to this, @notahotel_official , @pharrell and NIGO came together to create a custom-built glass tea house, with a copper tiled roof, showcasing his ceramic tea bowls. The show ends with a painting his collection by by Japanese calligrapher Yūichi Inoue, featuring a symbol that translates to “old age”. Swipe to look inside.

Save this one for the next time you need a place to eat in East London 📍 When it came to creating interiors for its new Spitalfields outpost, @holycarrotrestaurant turned to @t_o_o_g_o_o_d . Inspired by the "veg-packed" menu and the area's history as a Victorian fruit and vegetable market, she came up with a design that would center around a mural depicting a whimsical scene. In the hand-painted scene, human figures blend in with towering vegetables. “It is a testament to soil, sustenance, decay and eternal regeneration," Toogood said. "I wanted the space, but especially this mural to dig into our connection to the earth and the food we eat." Elsewhere, the materials remain simple: white tiles, metal, concrete, linoleum and raw canvas. Furniture comes in the form of custom-made, recognisable Toogood pieces, and antiques. Using paper, the studio crafted a bespoke candelabra, with textured aluminium used to create the smaller table candleholders. Swipe to take a look around.

From his original wardrobe to first Levi’s jacket, @nigo ’s teenage bedroom is recreated in its exact form for his landmark @designmuseum exhibit in London. Curator Esme Hawes told Hypebeast, “NIGO was really keen that we start from the very beginning, so that’s why we begin with a recreation of his teenage bedroom.” Is this what you expected his room to look like?

Sound ON 🔊 In Milan, you’re not short of incredible homes. The issue is, they’re often hidden behind gates. However, when Salone comes around, suddenly, you’re able to get inside to take a look around. For this year’s festival, architects @hannespeer teamed up with @margrafspa to create “La Casa Di Marmo”. In the underground apartment of a historic villa, they created a space that explored the use of stone in architecture. The aesthetic: “a space that has been excavated rather than built”.
