Kila Cheung Solo Exhibition：
"STILL READING" continues his intuitive and free form artistic approach, navigating fluidly between two dimensional works and sculptural objects. The exhibition features a selection of distinctive pieces, including wooden sculptures that extend his visual language into three dimensional form, inviting both visual engagement and deeper reflection.
This April, visitors are invited to experience "STILL READING" and explore Kila subtly playful yet thoughtfully layered artistic world.
曾於台北舉辦「日光室少年」、「Oh My Young God」等個展的藝術家 Kila Cheung 章柱基，再度於 The Little Hut 舉辦個展。
本次 "STILL READING" 延續其一貫自由直覺的創作風格，輕盈遊走在畫面與物件之間。展覽集結多件風格鮮明的作品，並也透過立體木雕形式詮釋，讓創作不僅可被觀看，也能被感受與玩味。
誠摯邀請大家四月走進 "STILL READING"，在這場輕鬆卻耐人尋味的閱讀之中，感受 Kila 所帶來一點調皮同時也藏著一些深意的創作世界。

Three days left "STILL READING" is entering its final stretch.
The exhibition reflects a simple, almost naive kind of sincerity that the artist has held onto over time.
Centered around “Siu Ming,” Kila presents works across canvas and wood, moving fluidly between forms. If you haven’t visited yet, this is a good time to stop by.
展期倒數三天，"STILL READING" 也進入最後的閱讀節奏。
這次展覽圍繞著在看起來很單純、甚至有點傻氣的初心，但對創作者來說那是一直被好好放在心裡、沒有放棄的事物。
Kila 以「Siu Ming」作為核心角色，把五種不同的塗裝風格延伸到畫布上，也帶來多件平面與木雕作品，不同形式之間自然切換，讓整體觀看感受輕鬆又流動。如果還沒來過現場，不妨把握最後幾天，慢慢走上一圈，也許會在某個角落，找到一絲熟悉的感覺。

The collab you didn't know you needed. 👹 We teamed up with artist and illustrator @kasinglung for our second installation at Milan Design Week: Wonderland of The Monsters.
Come and find this limited-edition collectable "Beautiful Thing!" and join the reveal of a new USM Haller furniture collection featuring the artist's illustrations.
Rooted in Nordic folklore, Kasing Lung's mischievous world of The Monsters is led by Labubu, the cult favourite turned global obsession.

Siu Ming the Reader 在2019年首次推出，拿着實體書閱讀的風景現在愈來愈罕見。每次望向小明，見他仍然捧着書，Kila為他畫人像畫，對照在AI盛行的年代，小明 still reading，自己則 still drawing。
“Still Reading”系列先有實體再作畫，木雕作品Tall Tall Tower和Nature Tower則是在去年的展覽中先展出畫作，後有創作立體。數年前Kila曾以 ”Still” 命名在香港的個展，這次再以「仍然」為題，在繪畫和雕塑創作中，繼續繼續探索下去。

“STILL READING” reinterprets a sense of sincerity that may seem simple or even naive to others, yet is quietly protected by the artist.
Centered on "Siu Ming" , Kila brings five painted styles onto canvas, alongside a series of paintings and wooden sculptures. In a relaxed viewing flow, visitors are invited into a gentle journey of purity and persistence.
「只想把最初那份純粹靜靜的守著。」
本次 "STILL READING" 透過一系列創作，重新詮釋那份或許在他人眼中顯得單純甚至有些傻氣，卻依然被創作者堅持守護的初心。
並以 "Siu Ming" 作為本次創作的核心角色，Kila將其五種塗裝風格延伸至畫布之上，同時展出多件風格鮮明的平面作品與木雕創作，在輕鬆而流動的觀看節奏裡，觀者得以慢慢走進這場關於純粹、關於堅持的閱讀旅程。

Kila Cheung / 章柱基
Led by the idea of “fun,” this new collection unfolds with freedom in both style and medium, playfully shifting between image and object, seriousness and whimsy. Still in progress during the writing of this text, the works reflect a sense of curiosity and ease anticipating what might emerge by June.
Raised in Hong Kong and a graduate of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the practice began simply by following personal interests. Everyday observations and moments form the core of inspiration, with skateboarding playing a recurring role once even becoming a canvas and sculptural surface in a solo exhibition. Visual language is informed by a wide range of influences, including Kenny Wong, Yoshitomo Nara, and Yukie Komura.
以「好玩」作為創作的起點，作品在風格與形式上保持開放，從畫面與物件之間自由遊走。正在製作中的作品則以輕鬆、直覺的方式構築，模糊了平面與立體、正經與幽默的邊界，也透露出Kila對於創作過程本身的期待與自在。
成長於香港，畢業於香港理工大學，一路順著自身喜好前行，逐步將生活中的觀察、喜好與行動轉化為視覺語言。靈感多來自日常片段與街頭文化，滑板是生活的一部分，也曾成為創作的媒介，透過舊滑板進行繪畫與雕刻的實驗，並欣賞如Kenny Wong、奈良美智、小村雪岱等人的作品，並從中吸取語彙與節奏。

- Every morning before opening (9.00 am) , wristbands will be distributed outdoors by random order. (MUST: Wristbands must be distributed and placed on the guest’s right wrist by TTE staff).
- Each wristband is printed with a unique number.
- After receiving their wristbands, guests must queue outdoors in order numbers according to their wristband numbers.
- Order forms will be distributed for guests to fill out while waiting in line.
- Staff will escort guests to the shop in groups of 10 each time.
