In our third year directing and producing video for
@artsfundseattle ‘s annual Celebration of the Arts, we invited our friend and 2025 Seattle Civic Poet
@dujietahat to reflect on the relationship between the arts, civic engagement, philanthropy and social change. We were proud to be at McCaw Hall for the premiere of this piece, which raised funds for ArtsFund’s vital grantmaking, research and advocacy for the arts and cultural sector across Washington State.
As Dujie so poignantly underscores, “more art does not make for a better world; it makes a better world possible.” And “in an age of cruelty,” our support for and experience of the arts must provoke us into tangible, courageous action.
Thank you to our team who braved the summer heat to bring this short to life, and to the
@seattleartmuseum for allowing us to capture this performance at the Olympic Sculpture Park.
