@telfarglobal ’s past, present and future to honor its 20 year anniversary and as a result brings to life moments within the history of New York City, the creative community, and illuminates the upheavals of the fashion system and various intersecting personal experiences and histories that do not follow the usual script. The piece is a result of a months long brilliant oral history project spearheaded by the talented
@keenanmac and penned by i_d’s editor in chief
@thomthomclub .
We are so lucky to have spent time behind the scenes with
@teflarglobal and the brilliant team working alongside him including creative director
@babakradboy and fashion director
@avenagallagher to create -if not insist on- community, challenge institution, express true authenticity, and to connect directly with fans and consumers in ways that have truly reshaped our industry. We were thrilled to be invited to produce the brand’s 20th anniversary runway show alongside the very talented Telfar team back in June, an unforgettable event that included a 200 model cast including New York’s best and brightest artists, friends and family, and the event was open to fans, and of course - the public.
We consider our years working with the Telfar team on their fashion shows, events, collaborations, and shoots as some of our greatest - and most rewarding - achievements and salute Telfar’s 20 years and are here to celebrate many more to come.
