There’s an entire story cause in truth, the story is that nothing was ever filmed, that nothing ever really happened.
A single thing did exist: a series of photographs, taken in a studio. That I can’t wait to release too!!
From a stillness, came a work: this film.
It began as a question while I was playing with AI:
could a face, a body, drawn from a photograph, ever become a moment?
A living fragment, like in cinema?
But then I thought that cinema is a memory of something that once breathed,
a trace of what has already slipped away.
And yet, what is the present,
if not something that trembles in the blink of an eye?
A fragile pulse, forever dying,
and being reborn,
and dying again,
perhaps, this time, through AI.
Anyway, it’s here now, right before your eyes.
