maybe we're living through hell, but i think I'm in good company down here with all my friends.
I'm very happy & proud to have designed, rigged and installed the stage for the @telfarglobal 20th anniversary fashion show! We hand-placed hundreds of Telfar tank tops on dozens of clotheslines six stories above Cortland alley in the heart of soho.
This piece was a real team effort put together in collaboration with the rest of the design team, grips, production, etc etc etc. It's really beautiful to see how smooth and cool and fun things like this can turn out when everybody is friendly, nice to each other, hard working and gives a shit. The show was an incredible production of 8 camera crews shooting from windows and rooftops around canal steeet, more than 200 models of all ages and walks of life, a live score by @standing_on_the_corner and hundreds of onlookers both invited and snuck in. Shoutout to everybody on the Telfar crew but especially @alexa.m.harrington@hicham__faraj@gemininaim@shermanhelmsley@dan_guu@meeetraaa and my dudes up there on the 80 foot lifts with me Che, Mark, Bliss & Smitty

Completely designed, engineered, prototyped, patterned, built, sewed, and painted by me! It's assembled like a giant bespoke version of the real thing, stitched together with over 100 feet of hand-sewn paracord. This one was a real head trip to figure out and frankly, I nailed it. Thanks to @grumpenstein3d for expert 3d printing and mold making!
This is maybe my favorite professional project ever! It was extremely satisfying to take the concept all the way from a flight of fancy to surreal reality :))
If you didn't already know... I can make pretty much anything if you give me enough time and money to do so. Hire me to build more cool stuff! Let's make your dreams happen baby!!!

Forgot to post this until now, but a year ago we designed, built and styled a whole-ass train for Neiman Marcus! Production design by @nicholasdesjardins , busted out by me, @treesandnails , @emilykreusch and the rest of the art department crew. This was a doozie but I loved doing it, from now on I want all ceilings to be curved!
