Finally, today, on the International Day of Friendship, I’m launching the presale of my book “Vulva Obscura”! ✨🍑 I’ve been looking forward to this so much! She lifts the veil on what usually remains hidden, subtly revealing a wealth of unique manifestations. She shows how every vulva—from the mons pubis and labia to the clitoris and the entrance to the vagina—regardless of its development, is unique, special, and beautiful. Meet the artists of (UN)SHAME >> 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 Fotograaf Hanne Lamon legde voor 𝑽𝒖𝒍𝒗𝒂 𝑶𝒃𝒔𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒂 honderd mensen met een vulva vast op de lens en geeft zo letterlijk een inkijk in wat gewoonlijk verborgen blijft. Met een zelfgemaakte camera obscura en polaroidcamera vangt Lamon vormen die teder, uitdagend en diep menselijk zijn. Via intieme portretten van honderd vulva’s toont ze de diversiteit, kwetsbaarheid en kracht van lichamen die vaak door taboe worden omgeven. Tijdens de fotosessies deelden veel deelnemers verhalen over hun vulvaschaamte. Lamon besloot ze te verzamelen en te delen, in een poging het stigma rond de vulva weg te nemen.  𝐕𝐢𝐯𝐚 𝐥𝐚 𝐯𝐮𝐥𝐯𝐚! (UN)SHAME brengt vier kunstenaars samen die de vele lagen van schaamte blootleggen en transformeren. Te zien tot 4 januari 2026 bij GUM & Plantentuin.
