Where do Ideas come from?
With this thought, I embarked on a new project for
@kaizo.house in which I wanted to implement an animation sequence.
I’ve started drawing about 150 days ago, and tried to draw daily and learn the fundamentals, which is incredibly difficult. I always loved drawing and always played with the thought of making my own anime one day.
But well.. animation is a whole other league. Drawing bodies and faces in three dimensional space is hard. So animating it, don’t even get me started.
Nonetheless, for this project I deep dived into learning to animate, or at least learn the software. For the character design, I’ve researched various art styles and line art variations that I liked, and with Nano Banana Pro got help to create the foundation of my character art. Afterall: Making most of this by my own was always my priority.
But instead of letting AI make the full animation, I redrew every single frame, coloured it manually and animated it manually. And man, it’s a lot of work.
But after almost a week of drawing for about 6-8 hours my very first animation is done.
The implementation of AI made this possible, cause without its references it wouldn’t have been possible.
Nonetheless, I will continue to learn the art of drawing.
I’ll do a more detailed breakdown video later on, until then - keep learning, keep drawing, keep creating.
