Let us introduce the Leitz HEKTOR lenses! A series of six full frame prime lenses made in Germany that support multiple formats through user-interchangeable mirrorless mounts (E, L, RF, Z). The focal lengths are 18, 25, 35, 50, 73 and 100mm, all at T2.1 and wait until you see the look of the lenses that is inspired by the last 100+ years of Leica’s photographic history!

A friend of ours had the idea for an awesome shot where the camera would shoot through the bend of a London Underground tube window, exploring how distortion would affect the subject’s image and identity.
Before committing to the shot, they wanted to see if it would work in principle and how it might look, so they came to us. we used a heat gun to bend some old acrylic and shot through it. It looked really interesting! Unfortunately I don’t think the shot ever got used, but we love experimenting and seeing what we can come up with in a short window of time.
We have expanded our popular HEKTOR mirrorless prime lens range with the introduction of an interchangeable G mount. The ability to use lenses with the Fujifilm G mount opens new creative opportunities for users of Fujifim Eterna 55 extra large format cinema camera as well as the GFX100 series.

What a project! Three days of filming in the middle of winter in the best city in the world. Huge shoutout to @nolis for trusting me to lens this one for his directorial debut.
Another big shoutout to @leitzcine and @sethemmons for providing their full set of Hugo Lenses. I was completely blown away by this glass. They are incredibly sharp even when wide open, complemented by a really nice fall off as you get closer to the edges. This allowed me to truly put the audience in Nolis’ world from his point of view. Additionally, the lenses are super compact, which made this run-and-gun style of shooting seamless. The 50mm T1 is truly one of one; I can’t wait to get my hands on them again.
Thanks also to @cameraambassador for helping me prep and test these lenses in Chicago and for providing the camera package.

We’re thrilled to team up with the @CocaColaRefreshingFilms program and
support filmmaker at the start of their careers. Leitz Cine provided access to 5
different lens series including Leitz PRIME, ELSIE, HEKTOR, THALIA 65 and
HUGO to use on the students’ productions. We can’t wait to see the final films.
