A little look into some of the production backdrop to the new
@ohtband EP- building upon complexities of nostalgia, memories, relics of a potential future from the past- “liminal spaces” I created a hazy, early digital-like backdrop for most the record. I largely built around main core elements
@kurtwubbenhorst and the boys gave me and enhanced them through guitar pedals, some handmade samples, some not, a lot of
@aberrantdsp @valhalladsp plugins as well, honestly whatever gets the job done. The “digital rain” i recorded outside of
@glower.studios and ran through various early 00’s filters which was super fun.
