On Friday April 24th, I will be playing my senior recital at The New School! The performance will be in Arnie Lawrence Hall on the 5th floor of Arnhold Hall (55 w 13th st)
Very fortunate to have such an amazing group of musicians and friends joining me to play lots of odd time signatures and strange grooves
Also very excited about the setlist I have put together, ranging from Tony Williams all the way to The Contortionst, along with 5 of my favorite original compositions I have been apart of, from vya and others
There will also be a livestream, I will post the link prior to the show

I posted a story poll a few weeks ago asking what kind of videos people prefer and the overwhelming majority likes mixes from live stems as opposed to camera audio, so I will definitely make a couple more of these soon! I’m pretty happy with this drum sound for a quick mix from live

Playing rock music at @debonairmusicnj from July 26th with @listentovya
For a while I was obsessed with the idea of making an impact within a section by only having the drums change but I wrote this part with the opposite idea, carrying the same groove into a vastly different section
After the chorus was already written I took the same groove, moved it to the stack and then dylan and I started working on this interlude to connect the two halves of the song
Think it turned out cool! Been having fun testing some new songs at our recent shows

Another drum cam!
I always record stems from our iem rack at shows but rarely use them for anything, so I whipped up a quick drum cam mix for the ending of “Lips on a Blade” from our 7/26 show at Debonair
We went into the studio beyond certain that this song would not be a single and before we knew it everyone agreed it had to be the first single from Instar
