A year ago, we were cutting CATCH A BUZZ. Really stoked to finally be back in my real, true home - the studio. New grooves. New life. New me. Same fucking grind. CREATE is in ALL CAPS this year. ✌🏼

This past year we worked really hard to create the most authentic, most exciting, and most interesting LP to us. To hell with trends or eras or algorithms. Just what the fuck we want to listen to that we aren’t getting from the zeitgeist. We surprised ourselves with how much we loved these tunes, and how amazing the process felt shedding and recording these in the studio.
This shit is supposed to be fun. We love to perform. We love to entertain. We love to go against the grain. Being a creative and trying to sustain a living by it has made this shit fucking stressful, metric-driven, soulless at times in this city. We simply refused to let the basterds get us down and focused on doing one really great project that embodied who the fuck we are and it’s here. CATCH A BUZZ, NOT THE FUZZ is out now. I’ve never been more proud of a piece, I’ve never felt more confident in what it is and who I am, and I’ve never felt more excited about the possibilities.
YOU make the trends. The trends don’t make you. Be a cult classic in the age of bloated, shitty, box office failures.

Should we cancel our subscriptions and buy more physical media? @uncle_sethro thinks we should:
“As this whole digital streaming/AI/algorithmic experience has evolved into a fucking Ponzi scheme, you’ll start to notice the things you wanted to see in your feed are dwindling…”
