I am coming back from being off the grid for a bit, I have a few posts and updates I’ve been meaning to make from the last few months.
I mixed the new @lombardy_band record last year that came out this past Friday. I am flattered to be asked to help these guys, I had so much fun honestly. I wanted to help provide support and confidence as they pushed for the next chapter in their sound. Respect the board mixes was the name of the game here- we kept things actually more raw and unedited, guitar parts aren’t perfectly symmetrical, no samples, different kits and snares and guitars on every tune, I love albums like that. I channeled the spirit a lot of my favorite mixers from the 90s-00s to accompany that vision. There’s a lot of fun scenes and a story arc-feeling taking the record top down, I recommend a full listen.

My first custom pedal! I wanted to run a lot of non traditional elements in a “hazier” style distortion that ranged from subtle warmth to a musical fuzz- a quality in @akira_yamaoka work i’ve always admired. @balls.johnson2244 ended up building from a rat mod, it has a lot more versatility the OG!
Threw a couple videos up with my long time friend @jpuglise getting lost tossing anything we could at, the ultimate pass for a new toy. It’ll be on a bunch on new @glasslotusproductions works as a simple boost or distortion for guitar and bass.
Still can’t get over how much this feels like an item drop in Silent Hill 2- thank you @balls.johnson2244 for making this a fun process, go get a pedal built 😎
Caught this late the other week after a night of heavy storms- haven’t seen a purple sky yet in NJ, I had to stop on the highway to grab these lol.
March in the Northeast has had some of the most dynamic and aggressively transitional weather I’ve ever experienced. Some surreal moments.
