Funk & Disco Session 🌟 Thursday April 23, 8:15pm to 10:30pm At ANANDAM (101 Florence St, near Dufferin and Dundas/Queen) Short wh/aacking warm-up with @kbacardii and quick Hustle intro with @s0ulius.qd starts at 8:30pm Practice session is open to any dance style. Music will be funk & disco themed by DJ Friend (@bjornkwok ) & @icedmistoplease downstairs, and @kbacardii 's playlist upstairs Please bring your own water bottle and clean, indoor shoes. Admission is $10 which will be going towards rental fees, and anything extra will be contributed to @crystallized.jam

What an incredible weekend! On behalf of @shimshimmaa and I, we are overwhelmed and deeply grateful. We saw so much joy and laughter. We witnessed reunions of friends, new friendships being made, and communities, crews, and cities bonding. It is the people who make this event so special. As Keegan said: In 2015, Keegan was training Campbellocking heavy and I was doing the same in Wh/aacking. At the first @tohustlesessions that @arthurstorm and @kristineflores_ was hosting, Keegan asked if I could be his partner for the class, and from there formed who I call one of my chosen family. We went to so many parties where our growth as dancers happened the most, and made more deep connections along the way. That's how Crystallized came to be: Our love for music, dance communities, and club culture. It couldn't have gone so smoothly without this amazing team this year: 💖 @le_geek_cc helped with the grant and planning all year. This was really our dream venue for Crystallized I'll say it again: y'all made the event. Thank you for coming, being so open to each other, trusting me with the music, and believing in our vision.
