DJing with Iced Misto (cohort 2026) complete! This was a 4-week program designed for curious folks to see what path(s) they wanna take with DJing, prepare for interpersonal skills needed for the job or organization events, and foundational knowledge before getting your hands on the decks. I often refer to this as Level 0 --a workshop to take before taking a DJ workshop or class lol. I'm really happy how engaged participants were despite how technical I can get, and especially pleased how new friends were being formed. If there's anything I learned in my DJ journey, doing the Thing together is so much more fun and easier than doing it on your own! That said, I'm thankful for @flyladydi @kitboogie @marsbtx @woovaleroo @boogieonqueen for their help in making this happen and their insights! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone from the program play out and build their own communities in the coming years.
